The church Ministry started in 2005, after a significant call from God to go to Kaliro Road, Nkono I, Iganga municipal council and begin a church. But before that, Pastor Ronald was associate pastor to Pastor Stephen Sekatoogo at Reformed Presbyterian Church, Iganga between 2000 – 2005.

The place God called him to begin the church was remote, scarcely populated and the people in the area are the rural poor, only depending on subsistence farming.

According to human understanding, it was not an easy task to begin a church in such a place due to the many evils for example; drug addicts, hide out for robbers, witchcraft, prostitution and Islamic influence.

When we reached in the area, we started with a crusade and door to door evangelism. we also conducted luncheon fellowships to reach out to people with the gospel and let them know that Gods’ saving grace was free of charge for all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

We rented a hall at the school premises of Iganga Academic Centre (a secondary school) for our church services and that’s marked the beginning of the great work of God within the community.

The church started with a number of only 4 members of congregation with Pastor Ronald and and wife adding up to 6 people but the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ was manifested through the miracles, signs and wonders.

The first people that we received were bound and among the first few testimonies included:

A lady called Nabulumba Rose whose daughter (Baleka Fatuma) was eloped with for 2 years, we prayed with her for a period of about 8 months and the girl herself came back home to her mom.

The second one was a married man called Waiswa Fred with five children but no job, for the last 2 years, but when we prayed with them for some time God, made a miracle and he got a job in Kampala and more so the very kind of job he always desired.

The third person was a lady called Lwamusayi Georgia had recently divorced with her husband and they had agreed to sell their house so that they share the proceeds, but to their surprise, they had tried selling the house for 3 years but failed to get a serious buyer though people always came and appreciated the house and promised to come back with money but they always never came back which was a burden for her.

But according to what God revealed to me, there was a possibility that during the construction of that house, a certain contractor had planted witchcraft in foundation with expectation that they will abandon that house to him. We went into deep prayer for that house for one month, one significant thing which happened as we went to the site to pray, a very noisy bird and rat rushed out from the foundations and roof of the house, disappearing in thin air.

I told them that we pray that the house should be paid in cash since the husband couldn’t give the wife money had he to receive it. Shortly afterwards, a buyer came and finally the house was sold off for 22 million shillings cash.  

A rented hall is being used for our church services. We have pay per month but one challenge that we have is that the school programme dictates over church programmes because we have to move according to their convenience. For example; the time when the fellowships should start or end is set by the school, etc

We use school furniture to do our church services because we have not yet acquired our own.

We had prayed for 2 years without a Public Address System but used local drums but God answered us and later on we were able to buy a small public address system through contribution from members and friends.

The church went on increasing in number and in power gradually and as of now, we are over 50 members, men, women and children.

EVANGELISM

Door to Door: We divide up two people or one person and move from house to house on Saturday and Sunday after service. After that, we come back and make a report in fellowship.

Seminars and Conference

BIBLE STUDY:

We do have a bible study every Wednesday (5:00 – 6:00pm) and Friday same time for discipling purposes and for spiritual growth.

BAPTISM

We do baptise new converts after teaching the purpose of baptism according to the word of God.
