DESTINY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES

As a church we plan on teaching skills to particular groups like women, youth and widows

*WOMEN

We have classes where we teach women on how do piggery project as a group so that they can generate income for self development. We are still praying for the funds to be able provide like 40 piglets to this group.

*WIDOWS AND SINGLE MOTHERS

We have taught this group how to rear local birds, layers and broilers. 2 people out of the group begun. One is doing local and another one is doing broilers. But as a ministry we are soliciting around for funds to hand down 200 birds to an individual for self development.

*YOUTH

This is majority group and most of them are school drop outs, others are un employed while the rest are students. As a ministry we are looking ahead to teach skills for self reliance to this group for example; brick laying and concrete practice, carpentry, computer skills, cottage industrial skills (making cosmetics done at home, etc). The challenge or limitation we have as a ministry in order to achieve this project is lack of resources and skilled man power.
