Dear friends, Below are some of the ACHIEVEMENTS that we have been able to realise as a ministry through Gods’ power:

PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM

As a ministry, we do thank God for providing us with a public address system since we were using local drums in the first few years. This has enabled us to preach the gospel with more effectiveness.

GROWTH IN NUMBER

We do rejoice in the Lord for having brought His people in church, those who once used to walk in darkness like witchcraft, drugs, prostitution have been touched with the gospel and God has brought them in the church to worship Him. We started with 4 people but now the number has grown to over 50 members.

SCHOOL PROJECTS

God has blessed with 3 upcoming schools through funding from our meagre resources with help from friends: Namely:

*Tropical Highland Infant and Primary School – Magamaga (Mayuge District)

*Tropical Highland College – in a place called Kiwanyi Bugweri  - trading centre

*Rolina School of Designers – Kaliro Road, Iganga Municipal Centre (teaching of Vocational Skills)

WHY THE SCHOOL PROJECTS:

*Knowledge is power – the aim here is give knowledge which translates ability to live a more meaningful life.

*To provide education to the less privileged like; Orphans and needy children in the community.

*To give employment to our members and the community to earn a living to sustain themselves

*To facilitate ministry work in away that funds from these projects can be channelled to some of the needs in the ministry and to assist in organising evangelism.

*To act as a contact ground between the church and the community.

THE NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL PROJECTS:

*Land for expansion

*Salaries and wages for staff

*Scholastic materials to the children

*Permanent buildings

*Bursaries and sponsorships

GENERAL CHALLENGES

LACK OF LAND

As we are being faced with the challenge of renting a school hall to use for our church services, this is an inconvenience which affects our services. We are therefore in prayer to get land where we can start with a makeshift structure. Given the income status of our people, raising funds enough to buy land in the municipality is quite a challenge. We are in the process of fund raising but still the money is so little compared to price of land around here.

UN STABLE CONVERTS

Due to the constant problems in life which bring about relocation of people for example: as they search for jobs in other places, go for studies, shifting to other parts of the town, converts going away to more established churches i.e inform of structures, music equipments etc. This affects the church by reducing the numbers.

FUNDING FOR OUR PROJECTS

*We are in need of funding for our projects like:

*We need funds to buy animals and birds for our women, widows and youth groups.

*We need funds to hire skilled man power to train our groups in skills development.

*We need funding for our school projects as most of them are in temporary structures and lack other resources.

*We need funds to buy more tailoring machines and computers for our youth for training in vocational skills.
